The Stackhouse TechniqueTM

The STACKHOUSE TECHNIQUETM presents a program for improving posture.Thus, it offers all of the benefits that result from improved posture. According to the kinesiology research of Dr. Lulu Sweigard, the improvement of posture promotes:

  • 1) a slenderized figure,
  • 2) optimum flexibility of all joints and
  • 3) minimum expenditure of energy.

It has been proven that posture or skeletal alignment and movement performance are completely interdependent: improvement of either one automatically leads to improvement in the other. It may well follow that there is a link between the movement efficiency of good posture and aging. To this end, The Stackhouse TechniqueTM is designed to improve alignment through the practice of a range of exercises that address specific characteristics of good posture.
