As as an American Field Service foreign exchange student,
Anne traveled to Japan in 1974. She attended the Ichijo-Nara School in Nara City,
Japan for four months.
For more than twenty years Anne has maintained a seasonal teaching practice on the island of Nantucket June through September. She resides on the north shore of Maui, Hawaii during the winter.
Anne is acclaimed as a skilled movement therapist, highly successful in the treatment of chronic conditions. She has formulated countless exercise and wellness programs for groups and individuals of all ages and abilities. She has designed and directed numerous health and fitness retreats. She also conducts workshops and appears as an event speaker. Her most popular seminar:Calm In The Eye Of The Storm, introduces elemental yoga as a basis for stress management.
Anne is the originator of the Stackhouse Technique which is a life long fitness program emphasizing posture alignment.
She pursues a PhD in kinesiology. Her thesis is entitled: The Link between Movement Efficiency and Aging.
